Product introduction
    House Dress Jinbo ® waterproof breathable membrane is laid on the surface of building insulation layer just like a layer of protective clothing. It can strengthen the air tightness and the water tightness of buildings. Meanwhile its unique vapor permeability can make the water vapor in the structure discharged quickly , so as to save energy, improve building durability and ensure the indoor air quality. Also, it can make a more effective guarantee for the drying of building envelopes (external wall and roof) and a more significant thermal insulation efficiency, effectively prolong the service life of buildings and make buildings more comfortable and energy saving.

1. High air tightness:
     House Dress Jinbo ® waterproof breathable membrane is laid on the surface of building insulation layer and cover the whole building. Its unique non confined pore, great wind resistance performance and effective anti-aging can substantially improve the air tightness of buildings, so as to reduce the air leakage and heat loss and protect the insulation layer.

     National Institute of Standards and Technology ( NIST ) had studied how air tightness affected the commercial building energy consumption, and released a report titled Investigation of the Impact of Commercial Building Envelope Airtightness on HVAC Energy Use ( report number : NISTIR 7238 ). This report showed that through comparing HVAC energy consumption, the building used waterproof breathable membrane can save more heating and cooling energy costs, which can be up to about 40%, than the building not used waterproof breathable membrane.

2. High water tightness
    House Dress Jinbo ®waterproof breathable membrane has great water resistance to protect buildings from water vapor and rain. It can improve the durability of building structure and effectively ensure the thermal insulation effect and service life of the building, so as to make the building more energy saving and environmental protection and protect property value.

National Construction Engineering Quality Supervision and Inspection Center carried out thermal test for waterproof breathable membrane with a net hanging plaster external insulation system. Test results showed that the value of thermal resistance of waterproof breathable membrane can reach to 0.307 with 3cm air layer. Its is equal to two times of the value of thermal resistance of the air with the same thickness and 43% of  EPS insulation board in accordance with the regulations in Code for Thermal Design of Civil Buildings GB50176. Therefore, Its heat preservation effect is remarkable.
3. Persistent vapor permeability
    House Dress Jinbo ® waterproof breathable membrane is laid on the outside of the insulation layer with an air permeability above 1000g/m•day. It can quickly and effectively discharge the water vapor in the structure, so as to reach the natural dry,  protect thermal performance of building envelope and guarantee the durability and service life of the material. Meanwhile it can solve the problem of damp and dew. Its great bio-control function can protect the roof from the mold breeding, improve the air quality of the room, protect insulation layer and make the living environment more comfortable.

     A large number of surveys show that when the temperature is different between hot and cold, condensation phenomenon will occur. At that time, drops of water will form in the roof or wall surface, attack a building or a heat insulating layer, reduce the thermal efficiency of the thermal insulation layer and make a direct impact on the durability of the building. After laying House Dress Jinbo ®waterproof breathable membrane, the water vapor can be discharged through the membrane, making waterproof more secure.

4. Reduction of  the engineering cost
     House Dress Jinbo ®waterproof breathable membrane can protect thermal insulation layer overall, directly and effectively. Therefore, other protective layer and steam exhaust measures do not need laying on the outside of thermal insulation layer. What's more, fine stone concrete or film waterproof material is not deeded, too. It can greatly reduce the cost of the project.
