House Dress Jinbo ®waterproof breathable membrane is laid on the surface of building insulation layer just like a layer of protective clothing. It can strengthen the air tightness and the water tightness of buildings. Meanwhile its unique vapor permeability can make the water vapor in the structure discharged quickly , so as to save energy, improve building durability and ensure the indoor air quality. Also, it can make a more effective guarantee for the drying of building envelopes (external wall and roof) and a more significant thermal insulation efficiency, effectively prolong the service life of buildings and make buildings more comfortable and energy saving.

National Institute of Standards and Technology ( NIST ) had studied how air tightness affected the commercial building energy consumption, and released a report titled Investigation of the Impact of Commercial Building Envelope Airtightness on HVAC Energy Use ( report number : NISTIR 7238 ).
